Standard Cable

Our standard cable (Intercon 1  # 89238A) in its most popular version meets demanding signal performance requirements of +/- 4 ohms and has been used successfully in applications of up to nearly 50 meters. Incorporating our Industrial Ruggedized (IR) connector termination and over molding, these assemblies provide years of dependable performance in some of the most demanding industrial, medical, and scientific applications.

Chemical, Heat and Abrasion Resistant Cable

This CCXC type cable is also offered in a FEP Teflon coated version (Intercon 1  # 89238A-FEP). This highly durable Teflon jacketing protects the cable by helping it to withstand the damage that can be inflected through contact with chemicals, solvents, and spot heat sources.

Dual-Shielded CE type Cable

To meet the most demanding European shielding requirements Intercon 1 developed dual shielded cable (Intercon 1  # 89238A-DUAL). This CCXC type cable is produced with dual shielding (i.e. 100% Aluminum Mylar Tape and 90% minimum tinned copper braided shield) to ensure the containment of all spurious emissions through the cable.

High-Flex / Continuous Flex Cycle Cable

Many new applications for cameras using the standard CCXC hook-up cable require cable that will meet the requirements of flexing, bending, and twisting. To assist manufacturers developing equipment with these requirements Intercon 1 developed a high-flex cable (Intercon 1  # 89724) based on a proven design tested for years in millions of actual on-the-job performance cycles.

This highly robust and dependable cable uses Tinned Plated Amalgam as the primary material for the construction of the coaxial cores. Dielectric for the core and jacketing material is extruded FEP Teflon to ensure outstanding signal performance. PTFE is used on the control and power wires. This combination of materials is woven together to produce the finest CCXC hook-up cable in the world. No other cable comes close to the performance offered by this product.
